"As an artist, I have an ongoing interest and urge to explore and highlight the many layers of Egypt and its society. I focus on its day-to-day rituals, capturing moments, places, and objects passed almost unnoticed and ignored.

I find great inspiration in the infrastructure of the city and particularly its architectural development and how that reflects on the current socio-political situation that people experience today. The economic boom and the strong demand for real estate developments is rapidly changing the landscape of Egypt."
