Dr Annie Ravenhill-Johnson

Mae Dr Annie Ravenhill-Johnson, 80, Cellan, Ceredigion, yn brawf nad ydych chi byth yn rhy hen i ddysgu pethau newydd. Cwblhaodd Annie ei gradd israddedig mewn Hanes Celf yn 54 oed a gradd Meistr a Doethuriaeth yn ei chwedegau cynnar. Yn awdurdod blaenllaw ar gelf arwyddlun undeb llafur Fictoraidd, mae Annie hefyd wedi goroesi canser a strôc. Meddai Annie, “I’m still waiting to feel grown up!”

“Annie and Mansel live out by Lampeter so again it was another beautiful area to go and visit…. (I) wanted to photograph them near a Church that I’d seen, that was by their house. Very kind of distinct stone work in the kind of fabric of the building which actually made it into the exhibition. So her partner Mansel is a real hoot, from Swansea, very, kind of, dry and wicked sense of humour, so we had a real laugh that day. Annie really was perfect for the project in herself because of her life story but also because she’s got this amazing silver hair and that photographed really well and I was super pleased with these portraits.”
