Akh iqr en Re stela of Pashed

Akh iqer en Re ("the excellent spirit of Re") stelae depicted one or more individuals seated in front of an offering table, in the act of smelling a lotus flower. These stelae were found primarily in the first or second rooms of the houses in Deir el-Medina, where they stood in niches. Thanks to the power gained in the hereafter, the deceased, after becoming an excellent spirit, could act on behalf of his family when so beseeched.
