Design for a Pulpit, Plate 3 from an Untitled Series of Pulpit Designs
Ornament print with a design for a suspended pulpit shown in frontal elevation. The pulpit is characterized by a baldachin of rocaille ornaments leading up to the all-seeing eye of God, surrounded by rays of sunshine. This print is bound in an album containing 27 series with a total of 122 ornament prints from the fund of the prominent Augsburg publisher Martin Engelbrecht.
