From top to bottom, and left to right:
Design is for a lock plate and is in the shape of a rectangle. In the center of the design is a grey-shaded key hole that is surrounded by coiling vines of acanthus leaves, flowers, and grotesque heads. To the left of the key hole are a bird and a serpent. To the right of the key hole is a composite man and plant figure. At each corner of the design is a diverse foliage element.
