Hinggi kombu (men's ceremonial wrapper)

Men's ceremonial wrapper in red, brown, buff, and blue. Central section shows a patola-inspired motif (groups of diamons shaped lozenges interspersed with small circular motifs). Flanking the center on both ends is a row of birds confronted on either side of an upright blue fish; then a wide band of trees: one small with three conical branches, the other large, resembling candelabrum. The outermost bands have the bird and fish motif again. Two widths sewn together. Warp fringe (6in.) at both ends.
