Scarab Set in a Ring Bezel
A giraffe is the central image on the base of this scarab, which was once part of a ring. This animal was associated with prophecy. Thus, the giraffe, in combination with the heiroglyphs on either side of it, predicted a "life of all good things" for the scarab's owner.
