Part of a set of 12 plates

London, England

These plates were made by Rebeccah Emes and Edward Barnard, who set up in partnership in 1808 which became one of the largest businesses in London, supplying the royal goldsmiths Rundell, Bridge and Rundell, amongst others. Rebeccah was first in business with her husband, John Emes, and continued after his death to run her own workshop.
