Fukagawa Hachiman yanabiraki from the Series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo

This scene of the open gardens at the Hachiman Shrine in Fukagawa contrasts with bright red azaleas and pink cherry blossoms. Typically these two species bloom about a month apart. While many visitors are admiring the splendors of nature, this scene is a figment of Hiroshige's imagination.
