A black sequined silk jacket with crest patch worn by Michael Jackson and designed by Bill Whitten. The jacket consists of a black silk lining with another layer of silk sewn over top. The outer layer is covered with black metallic circular sequins sewn flat to the jacket. There is a red white and gold thread patch sewn to the PL brest of the jacket featuring an embroidered crown, a red circle with a stylized castle in it, and a golden banner which reads [MONTIS INSIGNIA CALPE - / GIBRALTAR / THE SUFFOLK RGNT]. At the collar there are two rectangular tags, one in embroidered black with a red circle reading [BILL WHITTEN] and the other white printed with black reading [MICHAEL JACKSON]. The jacket has no buttons, zippers, or other fastenings.
