Biscuit jar

Unknown Artist

During the late 1880's and early 1890's, the Mount Washington Glass Company began producing wares in opal or opaque glass decorated with gilding, enamel and enamel beads. Inspired by Near Eastern motifs, the patented glass was given exotic sounding names such as "Burmese" and "Crown Milano".
